Privacy at Elevate
This notice explains how we use information when you browse our website, ask about a visit or book an appointment. Elevate Clothing is operated by Billy Singh at 72 Quarry Street, Hamilton. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected]. For appointments, use [email protected].
Arranging your visit
We use your name, email address, optional phone number, requested date and time, appointment length, group size and any message to arrange and manage your visit, communicate with you and handle changes. Please do not send payment information or sensitive personal details through the form.
We use these details to take steps at your request before providing a service and to manage the appointment. We also have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and protecting the website from misuse. Sending an appointment request does not subscribe you to marketing. The boutique confirms a request before it becomes a booked appointment.
Where your information goes
Appointment records are stored in our WordPress system and can be read by authorised appointment managers. Notifications are sent to our bookings mailbox and to the email address you provide. Website and mail services are supplied through iWally; the site uses Cloudflare for secure delivery and protection, and Mailcow for mailbox delivery. Providers process the technical and message information needed to operate those services. We do not sell your personal information.
Cloudflare operates internationally, so technical connection information may be processed outside the UK. Where relevant, transfers are handled using the provider’s applicable data-protection safeguards. See Cloudflare’s privacy information.
Browsing, security and storage
Web and security logs may include your IP address, requested page, time, browser information and errors. We use this information to deliver the site, diagnose problems and prevent abuse. The booking form uses short-lived, hashed request-rate records rather than storing your IP address in the appointment record. A temporary reference in your browser’s session storage helps check whether an interrupted request was received; it does not contain your name, email or appointment details.
We keep appointment and enquiry information while needed to arrange the visit, handle follow-up and meet applicable business or legal needs, then review it for removal or anonymisation. Technical logs rotate according to the hosting service’s security and troubleshooting policies. Copies in mailboxes and backups have their own retention cycles; where information is removed from the active system, protected backup copies are not used for ordinary business processing and age out through those cycles. You can ask us about or request removal of your information.
Google Maps and links
Google Maps is loaded only when you choose “Show Google map”. Loading it or following directions opens a connection to Google, which may receive your IP address and use its own cookies. You can use the address and contact details without loading the map. See Google’s privacy policy. Other websites you choose to visit have their own notices.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, request erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request a portable copy. Contact [email protected]; we may need to verify that the request is yours. If an active appointment needs your information, we will explain any reason it must be retained or arrange cancellation first.
